Become a Player Mentor

Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

The heartbeat of Full Count is discipleship. We cannot wait to pour into college baseball players by building relationships, teaching the word, and modeling obedience. One of the greatest investments we will make in Full Count Rhythm players is through mentors

What is a Player mentor?

We are looking for Christian men to be mentors to Rhythm players in 2022. Being a mentor means taking an active influential role in the spiritual life of a young man.

What are the qualifications of a Mentor?

You do not have to be a pastor to be a mentor, you just need to have a personal active relationship with Jesus. You must be willing to pass along what God has done and is doing in your life to a young man. If the holy spirit lives in you, you have all you need to walk along side someone else in a mentor role.

What are the Duties of a mentor?

There is no one “right” way to mentor. Every situation and each personality will be different. We ask that you make it a priority to meet weekly with your Rhythm Player. You will spend time getting to know him and his story, and most importantly where he stands with Christ. Players will be going through a devotional journal with their team, we encourage you to press into the topics and discussion of what they are learning. We hope you will spend time praying together, spotting blind spots in each other, addressing areas of ongoing struggle or ungodly thinking and behavior, etc.

What is the Time Commitment?

The Full Count Rhythm Season begins at the end of May and runs through the playoffs at the end of July. You will meet weekly with your player during his stay in Hendersonville for the summer. You can invest as little or as much time into the relationship as you want. Our prayer is you would pour into the player heavily during the summer, and then hopefully stay in contact after he returns to his college campus.
